Surrounded by beautiful lochs, full of exquisite trout and coarse fish and encircled by magnificent salmon rivers and wonderful coast line, Balloch O' Dee is a fantastic base for any angler.

Balloch O' Dee is a photographer's paradise. Everywhere you look there are stunning photo opportunities for landscapes, seascapes and wildlife.

Astronomy

Situated close to the Galloway National Forest Park which which has been named the first Dark Sky Park in Britain due to its zero light pollution. There is no better place to see the spectacular night skies than Balloch O' Dee.

Mountain biking

We last saw a car down this way in 1957! So if you are looking for somewhere that has miles of perfect tracks for mountain biking through some of the most un-spoilt landscape in the country then there is no finer place.
